This Participation Agreement shall be used solely for the tournaments and events produced, sponsored, or coordinated by Quest Hunt Co LLC (“Quest Hunt”). Quest Hunt shall have exclusive authority to interpret and enforce the terms of the Participation Agreement. Quest Hunt reserves the right to amend and/or modify this Participation Agreement. It is the sole responsibility of each registered hunter to read and understand the Participation Agreement and the Complete Waiver and Release of Liability Agreement to Hold Harmless and Assumption of Risk (“Waiver”). The Participation Agreement and the Waiver, as well as any and all updates and changes thereto, shall be available at www.questhuntco.com. Any team may only have one (1) member under the age of 18.

Any person who is a Professional Hunter is ineligible for Quest Hunt competition.  For the purposes of this Agreement, a Professional Hunter is defined as a person who receives any income from hunting deer and/or a person who receives any income from creating footage, whether in video, audio, or other electronic forms, of deer hunting.  In the event Quest Hunt becomes aware that a Professional Hunter has registered with Quest Hunt, the Professional Hunter shall be immediately and permanently disqualified from Quest Hunt competitions and events.  The Professional Hunter understands and agrees that his/her registration fee and any and all prizes or money obtained through Quest Hunt shall be forfeited.

REGISTRATION PACKET

STATE REQUIREMENT

Each hunter must hunt in the State in which he/she has registered.  In the event a hunter harvests a deer in a state for which he/she has not registered, or on land that the hunter does not have permission on which to hunt, that hunter shall be immediately disqualified from the Quest Hunt competition, and Quest Hunt may take further actions as it sees fit to sanction the violation.  Nothing in this provision shall prohibit a hunter from registering for competitions in more than one state.  Currently, Quest Hunt competitions are held in the states of Missouri, Iowa, Arkansas, Ohio, Kentucky, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, Illinois, Indiana, Mississippi and Kansas.

MULTIPLE TEAMS

Participants are allowed to enter no more than two (2) teams per state.  Participants are allowed to enter team(s) in more than one (1) state, but any deer submitted must have been harvested in the state for which it was submitted. Any participant who has entered more than one team in a given state may only enter any deer killed for one (1) of their teams. A deer may not be submitted for more than one team.

PROHIBITED ACTIVITIES

The hunter shall not use any and all “high-fence” methods and/or participate in game-farm hunting for the competition.  In the event Quest Hunt becomes aware that any hunter registered with Quest Hunt enters or submits a buck harvested from a high-fence or game farm hunt, the hunter taking that buck shall be immediately and permanently disqualified from Quest Hunt competitions and events.  That hunter further understands and agrees that his/her registration fee and any and all prizes or money obtained through the Quest Hunt shall be forfeited.

FAMILY MEMBERS

Immediate family members of owners, officers, and employees of Quest Hunt are strictly prohibited from participating in this hunting competition.  In the event Quest Hunt becomes aware that a family member of an owner, officer, or employee of Quest Hunt has registered with Quest Hunt, the family member shall be immediately and permanently disqualified from Quest Hunt competitions and events.  The family member understands and agrees that his/her registration fee and any and all prizes or money obtained through Quest Hunt shall be forfeited.

SCORE AND PRIZES

Each team may submit up to two (2) deer per person for the competition. Deer
must be scored and submitted within 24 hours of harvest with antlers fully intact and prior to caping of
the deer except as outlined below (see Submit Your Score page for examples.). For the purposes of this
Agreement, “Harvest” shall be defined as the actual time of physical recovery of the deer shot by
participant. If a deer is unable to be physically recovered by 11:59 p.m. on the day it was shot,
participants are required to notify Quest Hunt (brian@questhuntco.com) by 12:00 p.m. (noon) the
following day. Once the participant has notified Quest Hunt, the participant has 48 hours to recover,
score and submit the deer for it to be accepted. Any deer submitted after the 48 hours have elapsed will
not be accepted or considered for official scoring.

A team shall only submit one deer per team member for official scoring, meaning each deer submitted
shall have been killed by a different member of the team. Each team member may submit a second
deer to replace their first with a larger deer if said deer was killed by the same hunter with whom
his/her deer is being replaced and said deer was killed in accordance with the terms of this Participation
Agreement.

Prizes will be paid out on a team choice basis. (I.e. the team who finishes 1st will have the first option to
choose from the available prize packs and then the 2nd place team will choose from the remaining prize
packs and so on) All prizes received from placement in the Quest Hunt competition or from giveaways
by Quest are final. No prizes may be returned or exchanged.

Any team that selects box blinds as their prize will be required to pay a shipping fee of $375.00 per box
blind. The blinds will be shipped within 8 weeks of the banquet.

Any team choosing a bow prize pack will provide the following: draw length, draw weight, RH or LH and
let off. Bows will be built to these specs and shipped to the address provided by the participant. Please
allow 12 weeks for delivery.

The Official Score

Official scoring may begin up to three (3) days in advance of any banquet. After
submitting an unofficial score as provided above, teams placing 1st-5th are required to have both
participants attend the official scoring and awards ceremony. Teams placing 6th-12th are required to
have at least one participant attend the official scoring and awards ceremony in Springfield, Missouri to
claim any prize. All teams are required to have both deer racks submitted for scoring at the official
scoring and awards ceremony regardless of whether or not that team is required to have both
participants attend official scoring and awards ceremony.
After submission of the deer as provided in this paragraph, a panel of Boone and Crocket / Pope and
Young judges selected by Quest Hunt shall measure the deer and provide an official score. Any
Participant who wishes to have their deer scored in consideration of winning prizes must be present for
their states official scoring. Any deer that has previously been officially dry scored prior to the Quest
Hunt banquet will not be accepted and will not be considered for official scoring and prizes. Deer must
be scored by the panel of judges selected by Quest Hunt at the designated time of official scoring at the
banquet to be considered for official scoring and prizes.

Additionally, to be considered for official scoring, deer must be presented fully intact. Any shed, broken
antler or skull plate not fully intact will be not considered for official scoring.
Deer submitted in velvet will be subject to a 2% reduction of their total gross score for official scoring. If
a contestant removes the velvet prior to official scoring, it must be done so at least 60 days prior to
official scoring or be subject to the 2% reduction.
In the event of a tie amongst any top 10 teams, the tie will be broken by total spread of each team’s two
best deer.
All Official Scores are final and are not subject to revision. Scores provided by the panel of judges
selected by Quest Hunt Co. are the Official Scores and are not subject to change.
