Harvest Story: I’ve been trying to submit this deer for over a week and it hasn’t let me in my brother finally got a hold of someone and got it figured out. My brother had this deer at 25 yards Sunday. He pulled back on him and had the arrow fall off his string twice and by the 3rd time the deer was out of range. I called off Monday and Tuesday. Monday I saw close to nothing so I made some adjustments and did an all day sit on Tuesday. The sun started to set and deer were coming out of the woodwork. With a doe behind me and 6 minutes left of my 11 hour hunt I said screw it and hit a grunt sequence. Within seconds a 4 point came rolling in, and not far behind him came charging in the buck my brother had seen. I twisted around in my saddle and he came through straight behind me broadside I was swung around so far I lost my balance at full draw and fell off my platform into my saddle. I quickly hooked my boot onto my platform and pulled myself back up and drew back once more gave him 2 meeps to stop him and made a beautiful 25 yard shot. After a quick 200 yard track I recovered my deer and shortly after my brother was there to help out and celebrate our success.
