Harvest Story: After a hot and windy morning on stand, I started a rattling sequence. A few minutes later this familiar buck came running in and circled down wind. I gave a few short tending grunts and I misted some Vanmeter and Sons Lures doe in heat into the air. As soon as he smelled it, he made a beeline to my stand. I stopped him at 28 yards and made a broadside shot. After a 5 hour wait, we recovered him 150 yards away. Certainly a great hunt harvesting a beautiful buck.
