Harvest Story: I look up and there he was straight downwind 15 yards. I slowly tried to grab my bow but he would stare at me. After an eternity of 20ish minutes of staring at each other he started moving away from any shooting lanes in bow range. I grabbed my rifle behind me and tried to stop him about quartering away 40 yards but he never stopped. He did follow a trail deer normally take so I got ready and waited for him to step into the opening about 60-70 yards away. As he did, I yelled “hey deer” and he stopped, pulled the trigger and he didn’t go more than 40.
