Harvest Story: My teammate and I were hunting public ground in southern Illinois. There was a lot of pressure across the area, so for the afternoon we found a parking spot where we haven’t seen a truck parked. We were on a meat hunt trying to fill our tags. The afternoon hunt was my last chance to fill my tag. We had some does come out in the field, but they worked away from us. Then from behind us, this buck came in. I shot him at 50yds, and we watched him bed down and expire. It was a great hunt with my teammate!
