Harvest Story: Cold over cast evening. Movement was slow until about 4:00 pm. And it was like the flood gates opened. Does start pouring into the field feeding for about 45 minutes. There was 5 does and 2 button bucks. And I just got the thought processed “how in the world is there all these does and not one buck checking this field” and here came another doe into the field with this guy right behind her. I grab my bow and when I did another deer in the field seen me and blew. That stopped him in his tracks. Luckily he was at 20 yards and was focus on the other deer blowing. And with not much time to spare I drew and set my 20 yard pin right behind his shoulder. And that was all he wrote. Ran about 80 yards and crashed.
