Harvest Story: Evening hunt on Nov 9th. Around 3pm I heard one grunt behind me and 20 min later I saw him walking by. I hit the grunt call a few times and he was on a string headed my way. He crossed a creek and gave me a perfect 18 yd shot with the Mathews Vertix. Watching them fall is the best feeling a deer hunter can have. No blood trails needed. Great start to the 2024 bow season!
