Harvest Story: It was my first time out this year, as I’ve been in the fields harvesting all fall. Action was slow with nothing moving besides the squirrels. After my patience began to fade, I decided to get aggressive with the rattling antlers. After a 30 second duration of loud crashing with the horns, I looked down the holler and spotted movement. Much to my surprise it was a nice buck making a scrape. I grunted and he whipped his head up with aggression. He stormed in to 30 yards giving me a broadside shot. I placed a G3 Megameat broadhead behind his shoulder and doubled lunged the mature brute. He ran 100 yards downhill and tipped over. The rest is history.
