Harvest Story: At around 12:00 pm my wildgame trail camera sent me a photo of this deer stepping into my food plot. I grabbed my stuff as fast as possible and took off for that stand going the long way around to keep the wind in my face and come in from the opposite way he was headed. At about 1:30 pm I laid eyes on him walking nose down through the woods about 80 yds away. I grunted and doe bleated a few times a piece and it didn’t grab his attention at that moment. At 2:45 pm I heard something walking behind me and it was that same deer I had seen about an hour before. He had circled me and came from my down wind side luckily he didn’t wind me. When he stepped behind a tree at 17 yds I drew back and when he stepped into my opening I shot and knew it was going to be a short track job. When checking the arrow there was alot of blood and the arrow had made a complete pass through. When my son got off the bus we pursued the blood trail and after about 80 yards we walked up on the deer
