Harvest Story: After 4 years of history with this 6.5 year old buck, that lived in a giant timber block, I was able to cross paths with him this fall on a text book hunt! He read the script…came into a scrape at 40 yards (where he’s gotten his picture taken several times) and he started to work a scrape line on the way to a destination feeding area. After hitting the scrape at 40yards, he turned and walked right into 20 yards just as I had thought he would. I was able to place a good shot on him quickly after stopping him, & the 3 blade NAP Spitfire Maxx did the rest…in the words of Rut Daniel’s, “Didn’t go 20” & literally, watched him run 20 & go down! Awesome Big 8 in big timber country…couldn’t be happier with this one in my 25th year of bow hunting!
