Harvest Story: A buck we named “Heavy D”back in 2023. Knew he had survived the 2023 season so we knew it was game on this year with the mild winter we had in Wisconsin. Started getting him in daylight so knew it was time to get in the stand even with the upper 80 temps. Ended up meeting up with him on the fifth day of the season and was able to get an arrow in him. Long story short, we bumped him the morning after and wasn’t able to recover him until a week later. Not the ending we had hoped for, but still happy we could get our hands on him.
