Harvest Story: After watching this deer all summer, I knew with the moon phase he may move in daylight hours. On the 16th of September I got a picture of him at 6:30 in the evening. With the intel I had the odds were good that the night of the 17th would have him on his feet as well. I slipped into the tree with a perfect wind and was able to watch him get out of his bed around 6:15 and head towards the standing beans I was hunting over. After making few scrapes he quickly made his way to 12 yards. A fast start to the season and one I will always remember!
