Harvest Story: In my 20 years of hunting, I’ve never had an opening day sit quite like this. I saw 13 different bucks, and was able to put a heart shot on this 190″ buck of a lifetime just after sunset. He blew up from a 140 class 10 point in 2023, to this absolute mega of a 5 1/2 year old 13 pointer. He first appeared at the end of the one acre radish plot about 20 minutes before sunset, and it took him 24 minutes to make his way from 105 yards, to 38 yards before I could finally seal the deal. Truly honored to have this opportunity, and I can’t help but feel an incredible sense of gratitude to sit behind this monster.
